 | Génesis Rodríguez Pérez was born on July 29, 1987 in Miami, Florida; she is an American actress of soap operas. She is the daughter of singer and actor José Luis Rodríguez ("El Puma") and Carolina Pérez. Génesis is half-sister of Liliana Rodriguez and Lilibeth Morillo. After she highlight in a interpretation among the other students, she decided to become an actress. As a teenager, she began to study in more rigorous classes in acting, dance and vocal. She went to New York and started to take summer classes at The Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institutes. She is best known for her roles in the Telemundo TV series Prisionera, Dame Chocolate and Doña Bárbara. She also played Becky Ferrer on Days of our Lives. On 2012 she appears in two films: Casa de mi padre and Man on a Ledge. |
