Bérénice Marlohe (born May 19, 1979) is a French model and actress who has made guest appearances in several television series such as Equipe médicale d’urgence, Père et Maire, Section de Recherches and Femmes de Loi. She was seen on the big screen in L’Art de Séduire and will play a Bond girl called Sévérine in the upcoming 007 film, Skyfall,
opposite Daniel Craig.
The young woman may not be a household name yet, but she caught the
attention of French TV viewers after starring in the commercial for
Dacia Duster.
Marlohe aims to make a transition from television to the big screen.
She is currently shooting a movie directed by James Huth, called Un Bonheur N’Arrive Jamais Seul, which stars French superstar and former Bond girl Sophie Marceau.
Before Marlohe, it was rumoured that Brazilian model Ana Araujo was
close to secure the part.
Bond 23 will mark Marlohe’s first appearance in an English
language film. She is certainly beautiful and will fit right in
as a Bond girl.
But Bérénice isn’t just a pretty face, she’s worked hard
to get there. During her 4th year at the acting school of Béatrice
Brout, she’s been initiated to the methods of the Actor’s Studio, to
clown lessons with Michel Lopez and improvisation with Philippe
Lelièvre.
The stunning brunette can speak French, English, Spanish
and Arabic.
